Performance Online, Inc. (POL) has introduced their aluminum master cylinder and proportioning valve kit. Available in 1.00-inch bore diameter and weighs eight pounds less than a comparable cast iron units.
Burnishing the cylinder wall removes and/or greatly reduces burrs, imperfections and micro machining chatter marks that occur in all machine processes. It also makes for a straighter cylinder wall. To top off this kit, proportioning valves are hard anodized to increase longevity, have correct spring rates per GM specs, and each valve is pressure tested prior to being released for sale.

PPG Automotive Refinish offers waterborne compliant solution for its Vibrance Collection line of custom colors and effects.
Custom painters will now be able to use the Vibrance Collection of colors with PPG's Envirobase High Performance waterborne basecoat system and still meet VOC mandates.
Some special effect pigments currently available in the Vibrance Collection required a new technological solution to achieve waterborne compatibility. To address that need, PPG developed VWM5555, an innovative midcoat for the Vibrance Collection line. VWM5555 creates a midcoat layer over the waterborne basecoat and allows painters to use Vibrance Collection special effect pigments such as Radiance II dyes, Flamboyance, Prizmatique, Liquid Crystals and Ditzler Big Flake.
