Using the proven Flaming River stainless steel column technology with all new components throughout and the smooth True Torque tilt-shaft system, the new classic bell-style tilt column delivers steering performance in an eye-appealing package. The radiused bell cone is designed to work with the original equipment dash for the OE look.
The 2-inch diameter columns (includes a 4 1/4 inch wiring harness plug) are available in 30-inch and 32-inch lengths (1-inch DD output shaft), the most popular lengths for GM A- and F-body applications from the mid-`60s to 1970. They are black powdercoated stainless steel and have the new streamlined Flaming River dress-up kits (turn signal arm, tilt arm and hazard switch) standard. The column can accept the original equipment steering wheel or with the proper adapter, Flaming River aftermarket wheels.

They're Back
Fenton headers fit most chassis from 1937-53 (PN 7101, $289.95) with stock steering gear. Application Note: These probably won't fit Model T or A due to narrow frame width, particularly on passenger side. The 1948 and older engines will require dipstick tube modifications. 1948-52 Ford F1 pick-ups will have interference with one bolt on the stock steering box. That bolt can usually be modified so that the headers can be used.The headers will probably not work in 3/4 ton or larger trucks 1948-52. The 1942-48 Mercury cars will probably require shimming of the motor mount for steering.

Lightweight Winner
