After some investigation it was decided that Intercity Lines was the best choice to fill the needs of those folks that needed to get their car back home after a long Road Tour run. With customers like Barrett-Jackson, RM Auctions and the Peterson Museum, it is obvious that the folks at Intercity know how to handle the prized positions of the Road Tour participants. Owner Dave Wilson and his team use only fully-enclosed trailers and offer door-to-door service. There will be some special transportation packages put together this summer to accommodate Road Tour participants on the longer runs such as the Willy's Garage Tour from the NSRA Street Rod Nationals to Speed Weeks at Bonneville in August. Plans are also being made to put a group together to use Intercity to make the trip from the East Coast to the West Coast this fall to participate in the Sherm's Plating and NHRA Hot Rod Reunion tour this fall.
Watch STREET RODDER, check out the details at our website www.streetrodderweb.com, or give Intercity Lines a call at (800) 221-3936 to get all the details about this exciting new program. It is sure to help even more folks enjoy the fun of an AMSOIL /STREET RODDER Road Tour.
Department of Corrections
In the July issue of STREET RODDER we mentioned the passing of Rich Pichette, the founder of West Coast Kustoms. However, Rich is still alive and we regret the mistake and any confusion this error may have caused. (Ed's note: We didn't mention Rich "moved on"-that credit solely belongs to Eric.)
