Prolong Super Lubricants is proud to sponsor the "Twilight Cruise" - a popular street rod, hot rod and muscle car event held in association with the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum and the Cal-Rods Car Club. This marks the fourth year Prolong has supported the monthly automotive gathering, which takes place in the Motorsports Museum parking lot at Fairplex in Pomona, Calif.

"Twilight Cruises not only offer enthusiasts of all ages an entertaining way to get up close to some of Southern California's coolest vehicles, but they also help to raise funds for the Museum, which serves an important place in the history of motorsports."
The Twilight Cruise takes place on the first Wednesday of each month from April to December (twice in August and excluding September). The Motorsports Museum transforms for the event into hot rod heaven as hundreds of pre-1970 rods, customs, classics, trucks and muscle cars fill the parking lot. Now in its 11th year, the event draws thousands of attendees.
"As another Pomona-based company, our synergy with Prolong is great and we value our ongoing relationship," said Tony Thacker, executive director of the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum. "In addition to their sponsorship, the company attends and performs product demonstrations at every Twilight Cruise, and we use Prolong products, like their Waterless Wash & Shine, on vehicles in the Museum."
Entertainment at the Twilight Cruise includes celebrity picks, great raffle prizes and a huge 50/50 drawing. All proceeds generated by the 50/50 drawing support the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California. Vehicles chosen by celebrity selectors win the opportunity to parade down the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona dragstrip as part of the pre-race ceremony at the 46th Annual Automobile Club of Southern California Full Throttle NHRA Finals, Nov. 11-14, 2010, in Pomona.
Twilight Cruise admission is free and attendees may visit the Museum at no charge.
