The experts at Painless Performance and the editors of Street Rodder considered all Top 100 finalists before selecting Jimmy Hervatin's '30 Ford pickup as the Painless Performance/STREET RODDER Street Rod of the Year for 2010
The three most amazing things about Jimmy hot rod is that 1) the whole thing is handbuilt, including the body and bed which are scatch-built out of 0.060 aluminum wrapped around a steel rollcage, 2) Jimmy based his creation a painting by Keith Weesner, and 3) it ended up looking exactly like the painting. In addition to the award and Top 100 jacket presented to all 100 finalists, Jimmy won an exclusive Street Rod of the Year jacket, plus a trip for two to the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. In the meantime, the Street Rodder staff will be traveling around the US looking giving out 100 more Top 100 awards.
