Woody's Hot Rodz of Bright, Indiana is proud to announce their new "Full Wood" Gasser chassis for 55-57 Chevys. The all new chassis have been in development for some time. Woody's owner Christopher Sondles says, "We have been thinking of bringing out this type of throwback chassis for some time. Now with the all-new Real Deal Steel Tri-Five bodies we are selling, the gasser chassis seemed a perfect fit. We are thrilled to be able to offer the all-new "Full Wood" chassis along with the new steel bodies re-creating the ultimate '60s hot rod using brand new parts." Woody's goal is to return hot-rodding to its roots: Killer looks and performance without breaking the bank!
The Full Wood chassis are equipped with a full perimeter chassis that will bolt to any original (all body styles including wagons and convertibles) or Real Deal 55-57 Chevy body. Body mounting points are in stock locations as well as the cross member for the core-support. The front end is a parallel leaf spring design straight axle with new cast spindles and Chevrolet late model disc brakes, shocks, and all hardware. The rearend is a Ford 9-inch housing with in-board leaf springs. Housings come with axles but without brakes and gears for personalized performance. A heavy-duty rear shock bar has been added for strength, improved ride and to protect the body. Stock bumper mounting holes are pre-drilled. Engine and transmission mounts are sold separately for any drive-train combo you can dream up. Full Wood chassis packages start at just $7,250.
