Wrenchers Tool Chest introduced an entire line of quality, handcrafted tool chests. Each chest (priced from $1,400-$2,700) is custom-designed and handcrafted in the United States from true solid hardwoods (not veneer). Each tool chest starts with a sturdy 3/4-inch Birch plywood shell, followed with a full 3/4-inch hardwood exterior fused together with solid biscuit joinery, resulting in a 1-1/2-inch-thick chest, tougher than most metal boxes. The sides, front, and rear are solid hardwood, sprayed with five coats of satin acrylic urethane, meticulously hand-sanded between each coat for an ultra-rich finish. The non-slip, rubber-lined drawers are built from nine-ply pre-finished Maple, mounted on heavy-duty, self-closing Blumotion glides for super-smooth operation.
The chests can be sanded and refinished, making it last for decades. There are currently four standard Wrenchers Tool Chest models.
