Traditional Hot Rod Wheel
Rocket Performance Machine released two traditional hot rod wheel styles that will be available for spring 2011.
The Rocket Injector Series revives the traditional hot rod styling inspired by hot rods and drag cars from the ’50s and ’60s.
The Rocket Strike Series is the perfect boulevard cruiser wheel with clean, classic timeless appeal and single-rib design. The Rocket Strike will be available in fully polished and full satin as cast finishes.
The Strike Series wheels offer a longer center cap tower that resembles push-through center caps of wheel designs of the ’60s. They are precision-crafted from cast one-piece A356 aluminum and topped off with a vintage style aluminum O-ring center cap.
The Speedway Motors aluminum master cylinder (PN 910-31428) not only boasts lightweight aluminum construction, but its main bore is sleeved with corrosion-resistant stainless steel to provide extra protection against the caustic materials found in modern brake fluids. It is based on the GM-style design. Outlets on both sides of the body (3/8-24 IFF) allow the master cylinder to be used in both frame-mount and firewall-mount applications, while the 1-inch bore size can be used with either manual or power brakes. The stainless steel sleeved aluminum master cylinder has an unpolished body and chrome cover.

Jon Kaase offers his latest Boss Nine design, energized by an interesting new intake manifold with a hidden plenum below and stack injection above.
The hidden plenum on the underside of the Boss Nine intake manifold equalizes the pressures in all induction tracts and provides the engine with a clean, consistent idle, excellent part-throttle performance, and instantaneous throttle response. The plenum also provides for brake vacuum and empowers the MAP sensor, which has a major influence in the metering of the fuel.
Boss Nines are available from 429 to 600 ci with the most popular of those producing between 500 and 1,000 hp. Constructed with either a cast-iron or a cast aluminum engine block and topped with Kaase’s efficient hemi cylinder heads, Boss Nine engines were developed using four intake manifolds.
