WyoTech's Sacramento campus will host its 8th Annual Car Show on Saturday, May 5, starting at 9:00 a.m. Over 300 cars, trucks and motorcycles are expected to attend, with proceeds from the event benefiting the WyoTech Student-Helping-Student fund.
WyoTech's custom bike, which was revealed on Discovery Channel's "American Chopper: Junior vs. Senior" on September 19, 2011, is scheduled to be on display. Free autographed photos of the bike will be available while supplies last.
Automotive-enthusiasts from around the country, along with local and national car clubs, will compete for one of WyoTech's 20 custom handmade trophies. Admission is free to the public and goody bags will be given to the first 100 entries. Throughout the day there will be a variety of activities, including races with valve covers and Hot Wheels, raffle prizes and coloring contests for the kids. Local industry and food vendors will also be on site. Demonstrations will be conducted by WyoTech instructors in the school's various shops as well as by talented pin striping artists. Tours of the campus will also be available during the day.
