Named the 625 Street Demon, it’s engineered for hot rods with stock to mildly modified engines. Its cast aluminum construction exhibits smooth and flowing contours and in operation it accommodates either square- or spread bore pattern intake manifolds without adapters. It’s an easy replacement for any street four-barrel with 1-3/8-inch primary throttle bores, which contain triple-stack boost venturii.
The Street Demon’s fuel bowl, which is integrated with the main body, is available in either aluminum or an exclusive automotive-spec polymer. The polymer bowl features hot-weather driveability and faster hot restarts by reducing heat transfer to the fuel by as much as 20 degrees F. To eliminate all potential leaks the bowl is devoid of plugged passages and the bowl gasket is placed above the fuel level.
A single fuel inlet ensures simple installation and two-stage metering rods accommodate most tuning requirements, without carburetor disassembly or removal. For cold starting, a proven electric-assist bimetal coil choke is provided.

You can quickly remove rust and coatings down to clean bare metal in a fraction of the time it would take with other methods. The small job blasting kits work with small home compressors (7 cfm at 80 psi) and with Eastwood’s soda or abrasive media.
Eastwood’s abrasive crushed glass is used with the small job blaster to remove heavy rust, filler, paint, and grime quickly and cost effectively.

Responding to the requests, the Heidts Engineering Team has developed a high-horsepower, universal application of the award-winning Pro-G IRS design and geometry.
The new Universal HHP IRS features a fully welded and boxed, cut-to-fit upper crossmember, heavy-duty upper and lower control arms, fully welded uprights, heavy-duty constant-velocity joints and axle shafts, as well as Heidts’ own cast centersection that can be loaded with a wide range of gear ratios and limited-slip differentials. The HHP IRS also makes use of standard 10-1/2-inch inboard-mounted disc brakes with four-piston Wilwood calipers. Based upon the intended vehicle application, the Heidts sales team will help the customer select the proper spring rates for the coilover shock assemblies. To aid in custom installations, the HHP IRS is available in both 56- and 58-inch framerail width versions.
These ’59-64 Pontiac and ’58-60 Buick dropped spindles provide better brakes options and a 2-1/2-inch drop while retaining their stock GM front suspension. With a slight change to the machinework, this spindle bolts directly to either the stock Buick or Pontiac tie-rod end and control arms. Late ’70s GM 12-inch diameter disc brake rotors with a 5-inch bolt pattern make it easy to match the stock GM rear axle bolt pattern.
These are part of a new line of dropped disc brake spindles Fatman is developing for the first of the ball joint–type IFS GM big classic cars. Applications cover all the ’55-70 5-inch bolt circle Buicks, Olds, Pontiacs, and Cadillacs.
Summit Racing Equipment has introduced its own brand of -AN hose ends and adapters with a black hard-anodized finish.
Swivel-style fittings are made from aerospace-quality aluminum. The reusable hose ends have a swivel end that can be rotated to make connections easier to create. The fittings are designed for use with most fuels, including alcohol and nitro methane, and are compatible with most brands of -AN type braided and smooth hose.
Twist-Tite Fittings are lighter and easier to use than traditional -AN fittings. The aluminum fittings have a socketless barb end—just slip Summit Racing’s Twist-Tite hose over the end and the connection is complete.

The Smoothie firewall for ’57 Chevys is a brand-new custom firewall. An exact steel reproduction of the original with the exception of the small holes inboard of the hood hinge area are eliminated, plus no heater box or valve hole, no wiper hole, accelerator hole, steering box hole, master cylinder hole, or clutch rod hole.
The firewall maintains its basic original shape so A/C and aftermarket wiper system is easily installed. Cut holes as you need them, where you need them. Fits all ’57 passenger cars and wagons (PN SFW-57, $474.99).

A calibrated controller kit (PN 19256514, $1,312.50) from Chevrolet Performance enables the quicker and easier adaptation of GM’s 5.3L V-8 for hot rod projects, and works with ’07-09 versions of the engine.
The kit includes: two oxygen sensors, two oxygen sensor mounting bosses (for installation in the exhaust system), mass airflow meter, mass airflow meter mounting boss (for installation in the air intake system), throttle pedal assembly (for use with the electronically operated throttle), specific oil pressure sensor that is compatible with the harness, complete wiring harness with fuse box and necessary cam sensor and MAP sensor jumpers, programmed controller, instruction sheet, and 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.
All that’s needed to get a vehicle running with it are power and ground sources, a 58-psi (400 kPa) fuel pump, and an electric cooling fan.
