If you have the need for a custom tank for your vehicle, Dan Fink Metalworks has the solution. They can fabricate tanks for radiator overflow, brake, clutch or power steering reservoirs, dry-sump oil tanks, and even radiator (remote mount) header tanks. Sizes range from 3x3 inch up to 12x12 inch, up to 12 inches tall, and any size in between, all tanks have radius corners and a screw-on cap sealed with an O-ring. They can weld on the fittings to suit your needs. All tanks are made from 3003 aluminum, so they can be polished, painted, or powdercoated.
Something Old is Now Something New
Holley Performance Products now offers the all-aluminum 600-cfm carburetors (PNs 0-1850SA and 0-80457SA). They have been revamped with an aluminum main body, bowls, throttle body, and metering block. That means a 40 percent weight savings and a polished finish that stays shiny longer, all with a price tag that fits any budget. These bolt-on-and-go performance carburetors are available with manual or electric choke (PNs 0-1850SA and 0-80457SA, respectively). Both feature a single push-on style fuel inlet, multiple vacuum ports for accessories, and Ford A/T kick down. The 700-R4 linkage and 4L60/80E TPS kits are available separately.
Scott’s Hotrods and Customs now offers a service/product for all hot rodders. There are often times that a customer will need a custom application to suit their needs.
The Scott’s custom A-arm program simply requires you to ship your set of A-arms to them. They will make a custom set of jigs for your A-arms and you will have a set of custom-built tubular A-arms. (Prices start at $1,099 for most applications.)
In most cases the A-arms will be built from 1-1/8x1/4-inch wall DOM tubing; identical to what their custom A-arms are built from and TIG welded. Included are ball joints and custom cross-shafts if applicable, and carry the same lifetime warranty as all of Scott’s Hotrods’ other manufactured products.
Using the billet stainless rod ends for more adjustability, these A-arms will properly align the camber and castor for less tire wear and more driveability. A-arms can be ordered in plain steel or polished stainless steel and can be set up for airbags, ShockWave, or coilovers. Scott’s offers custom powdercoating.
