In 2004, Art Morrison released a chassis specifically designed for 1955-57 Chevrolets. The point of this chassis was to give owners more of a “Shoebox” feel. The first AME GT Sport was installed by Art Morrison himself on his own ’55. This is the same car that was the runner up for the Goodguys “Street Machine of the Year” competition. On April 9, 2013, The Tri-5 GT Sport produced its 1000th unit.

This is a monumental moment for the company. The chassis has remained the same all the way through its production run. The chassis features a lower stance and through-frame exhaust passages. The GT Sport chassis line has expanded to include First Generation Corvettes and Camaros, 1949-54 Chevys, 1947-53 Chevy/GMC trucks, 1964-72 GM “A-Bodies,” and 1959-64 Chevrolets.
