Rich Guasco's 1929 Roadster
The '29's latest finish, a deep wine purple, is DuPont by Rick Valdez of Creative Images, Lodi, CA. Jerry Sahagon redid the interior, a little more conservatively than the pearl pleats and buttons he created 40 years ago. Now the cockpit sports discrete pleats in beige leather. The steering wheel is an updated Lecarra banjo-style three-spoke, but Rich has a cut-down '39 Ford banjo that's going on soon. New S-W early-look white-faced instruments and seatbelts round out the interior.
