The Other Neal East Roadster
Under that stock 20-louver hood, we find a replacement for the 265 Chevy that Bill Woodard dropped in back in 1956. Just as Bill's, the first generation small-block runs a 098 Duntov cam, Corvette dual-point distributor, and an Offenhauser three-pot manifold equipped with Rochester carbs. Finned valve cars are also Offenhausers, and the chromed headers are by Hedman. The rest of the drivetrain consists of a '39 Ford box filled with Zephyr gears and a 3.54:1 '34 Ford rearend.
