New engines had to be installed after the car sat in the weather, so they chose GM Performance Parts 502 big-blocks. Each is topped with Mooneyham 8-71 blowers and dual Edelbrock 650-cfm four barrels. Transfer plates from a tractor puller measuring 1 1/2 inches mate the two engines, which use planetary gears and a single 36hp helicopter starter. View Related Article
