NSRA Super Prize Program Tops $1,354,426 In 2006
The participants of this year's National Street Rod Association's premier events are going to share in over $1.3 million worth of Super Prizes. For the 19th year in a row, the NSRA has created an array of prizes that have only been equaled by previous NSRA Super Prize packages.
This year's NSRA Super Prize value of $1,354,426, one of the biggest totals ever, will be divided into 13 equal prize packages worth $104,186.61 each. One of the Super Prize packages will be given away to the participants at each of the 13 NSRA National events. Random drawings of entry numbers will be made throughout each event, and winners will receive prizes with a minimum value of $200 all the way up to a welder, a set of framerails, a set of custom wheels, or an interior package. Every prize given away by the NSRA at the 13 national events is a desirable, worthwhile automotive product.
In 2006, 89 companies will participate in the Super Prize Program with NSRA. Many of these companies have been involved all 19 years, while others are participating for the first time. The total value of the NSRA Super Prize Program for the 19 years is $17,641,330, all of which has gone directly to the participants of the annual NSRA National events. Every registered participant of every NSRA event is automatically entered in this giant giveaway program where their official entry numbers are used to determine the winners of drawings taking place throughout the events from early the first day of the event through the conclusion of the awards program Sunday afternoon.
And the NSRA Super Prize Program is in addition to the NSRA's vehicle giveaways, dating back to 1982, which have included complete, turnkey street rods and brand-new Chevrolet trucks. This year a '32 Ford roadster pickup and 12 new Chevrolet HHRs are among the prizes given to participants of the 13 NSRA National events.
Remember, each time you enter an NSRA event in 2006 you are automatically entered in the drawings for more than $1,354,426 in prizes.

30th Anniversary For SSBC
Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation will be marking its 30th anniversary in 2006. "My parents, H. George and Marcia, started the company in the basement of our house. I used to come home after school and help out," said President Michael Jonas. "In 30 years, we've gone from a basement with 300 square feet to a manufacturing and warehousing facility with over 30,000 square feet. That is a testament to our quality, innovation, and employees."
