The next stop on the 2003 PPG/Street Rodder Road Tour was the NSRA Nationals East in York, Pennsylvania. The largest of the NSRA regional events, the Nats East is the premiere street rod event on the east coast. This year's turnout was again huge with 5,124 rods registered.
The three-day event started out on Friday with street rods covering the grounds from early morning until late in the evening. Rain on Saturday kept some of the spectators away, but the rodders took the opportunity to do some shopping in the three gigantic exhibit buildings that held over two hundred vendors.
Sunday's weather was back to sunny and the event wound up on a high note as everyone in attendance celebrated thirty years of rod run fun east coast style. Get the entire coverage in the November '03 issue of Street Rodder.

 This year the Nationals East...  This year the Nationals East celebrated its 30th year of street rod fun. There were special ceremonies on Friday and these folks were honored for being in attendance at the first Nationals East back in 1974. |
