The Cruise to Ocean City Tour
May 15 -May 23
Greer, S.C. to Cruisin' Ocean City, Maryland

The Tour kicks off Saturday May 15th with a BBQ and show at Southern Rods and Parts in Greer, S.C. Sunday we visit the newly opened NASCAR Hall of Fame Museum and the Charlotte Aviation Museum. Monday we will start at Steele Rubber Products and continue to D.E.I. Inc, R.C.R. Racing and end the day with a party at C.A.R.S. near Greensboro, N.C. It is then due east to the outer banks where we will visit the Wright Brothers Memorial at Kitty Hawk. Wednesday we will visit the Naval Air Station Ocean in Virginia Beach and then on to the big Cruisin' Ocean City event in Maryland for the weekend.

    The Woody's Hot Rodz Tour

    NSRA Mid-America Nationals - Springfield, Missouri

    NSRA East Coast Nationals - York, Pennsylvania

    After spending the Memorial Day weekend at the NSRA Mid-America Nationals in Springfield, Missouri we head to the huge NSRA East Coast Nationals in York, Pa. Our trip will include a visit to George Lange's collection of cars in St Louis, Woody's Hot Rodz, Cook Enterprises and Danny's Rod Shop in the Cincinnati area, Jeg's Motorsports and the AMA Museum in Columbus, Ohio. Wednesday evening we have a party at Alumicraft near Altoona, PA and Thursday we will be stopping at the Totally Stainless facilities in Gettysburg, Pa. After lunch we will visit the Gettysburg Battlefield Memorial before arriving in York on Thursday just in time for the East Coast Nationals kick-off party.

    The Vintage Air Tour

    NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals - Pueblo, Colorado

    The ride from Vintage Air to the Rocky Mountain Nats includes a visit to several popular Texas sites. Participants will visit the historic Silverton Railroad in Durango, in addition to the Commemorative Air Force Museum in Midland, which for 50 years has been the home to a remarkable display of incredibly restored aircraft from the Second World War. A stop in Amarillo is also planned. UPDATE: The Vintage Air Tour will start at the Vintage Air Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday June 19. Tour leaders Jack Chisenhall and Rick Love encourage everybody to get there in time for the traditional kick-off wiener roast, which starts at 5 PM. Everyone in the area is invited to stop by for the "meet-and-greet" before the Tour heads west for the NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals in Pueblo.

    The Factory Five Racing Tour

    This Tour heads through the beautiful countryside of New England and upstate New York. It all starts at Factory Five Racing's headquarters and finishes a week later at the New York State Fairgrounds for one of the region's best street rod events. Along the way, we'll be stopping at numerous rod shops, including Jim Lowrey Auto Restoration in Tilton,New Hampshire; Rolling Bones in Greenfield Center, New York; and Tucci Engineering in Marcy, New York. UPDATE: The Factory Five Racing facility in Wareham, Massachusetts, south of Boston, will be the place to be on Saturday July 10, as the Tour kicks off with a huge party that will include a behind the scenes look at the entire Factory Five Racing manufacturing complex. Everyone in the area is invited to stop by and say hi on Saturday afternoon.

    The Intercity Lines Tour

    NSRA Street Rod Nationals - Louisville, Kentucky

    We're leaving from California Car Cover Company in Chatsworth for the Intercity Lines Tour, which starts right here. SR and Rod & Custom editors will be joining this Tour to the NSRA Street Rod Nationals Plus in Louisville. The route includes a stretch of Route 66. Darryl Starbird's Hall of Fame and Museum in Afton, Oklahoma, and Comp Cams in Memphis, are scheduled stops. UPDATE: For East Coast folks who want to take part in the Intercity Lines Tour but don't have the time to drive out to the starting point in Chatsworth, Intercity has worked out some great rates for shipping your car to California.     The Dynamat Tour

    Bonneville Speed Week - Wendover, Utah

    Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats is the destination of the Dynamat Tour, leaving from Louisville right after the NSRA Nationals. The road to Bonneville will take us to Larry Ruth's Hot Rod Shop of Spearfish, South Dakota, where we've been invited to tour of that shop. World-famous Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills is also on the schedule. We will spend time checking out the displays at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, along with stops in Sioux Falls and St. Paul. UPDATE: On the afternoon of Monday, August 9, the DynaMat Tour will pay a visit to the Rad Rides by Troy facility in Manteno, Illinois. Troy Trepanier and the gang have invited everyone to stop by for lunch that day and take a look at all the latest projects that are in the works at this very famous shop.

    The Canadian Classic Cars.Ca Tour
    September 10 - 19
    NSRA Nationals North - Kalamazoo, Michigan

    NSRA Northeast Nationals - Burlington, Vermont

    Prepare for a beautiful ride as the Canadian Classic Cars Tour leaves the NSRA Nats North in Kalamazoo and heads north of the border into Ontario, Canada, where we will visit car collectors and builders-but not until we've toured Shadow Rods in Saginaw, Michigan. We'll also visit the Canadian capital of Ottawa, Ontario, to tour the Canadian Parliament. From there it's on to Burlington, Vermont, for the NSRA Northeast Nationals Plus. UPDATE: On the evening of Wednesday, September 15, Canadian Classic Cars will host a party at their facilities in Rockland, Ontario, just west of Ottawa. Street rodders from the area are invited to stop by and meet the Canadian Classic Cars Tour participants as we make our way to Burlington. And don't forget-a US Passport is required for Americans entering Canada.

    The NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion - Bakersfield, CA

    We're might be biased, but we think the California coast offers some of the country's nicest rods and some of the nicest roads. Find out for yourself when the Sherm's Plating Tour rolls from Sacramento to the San Francisco area, then continues along Pacific Coast Highway before heading to Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield for a nostalgic weekend at the NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion. Shop tours along the way will include Zane Cullen's Cotati Speed Shop in Santa Rosa. UPDATE: For street rodders visiting the San Francisco area, there is a "must see" shop on any Bay Area Tour. It's Roy Brizio Street Rods in South San Francisco. Roy and his crew has invited the Sherm's Custom Plating Tour to stop by on Tuesday, October 12, for a look at their impressive shop and to meet many of the local rodders.
