Modern Carb, Vintage LookDemon Carburetion introduces its Demon 98 carburetor. Retro in appearance but "today" in performance, this two-barrel, high-performance carburetor is designed to fit '30s-style three-bolt intake manifolds. It can be used alone or in multiple setups and is a replacement for the Stromberg 97. Rated at around 205 cfm (per unit), the 98 is designed to accept period-style air cleaners or air horns. It also employs many commonly available service parts, facilitates a choke, and operates at 6 to 7 psi of fuel pressure. The Demon 98 is available in a standard gold retro look, with optional chrome finish available at a later date.

The company introduces its Ford passenger car running boards, made to exactly match the originals using high-grade rubber molded over precision die-stamped, heavy-gauge steel. Both right- and left-hand versions feature perfect original rib patterns and edge details with all mounting holes pre-drilled. They are slatted to retail for $750.

The folks at Bitchin Products have come up with a billet aluminum tailpipe hanger that can be cut to any length and swivels 360 degrees. The sizes are 2 1/4 inches or 2 1/2 inches in diameter, polished or unpolished.
Mopar Trac's Tru
The 318/340/ 360 small-block Chrysler LA Series motor popular with rodders is now stepping into the modern era. Bruiser Enterprises LLC / Street Rod Engineering Inc. now has available its fiberglass 5-inch chopped 1929 Model A two-door sedan body. It features a ribbed filled roof, a recessed or optional flat firewall, and reworked upper body moldings to give a low, custom look.
It is also available as a sedan delivery with filled side windows and rear openings. As with Bruiser's original stock-configured-height body, this body features hand-laid composite fiberglass construction and is a finished body with the doors hung and latched, power window regulators and door glass, smooth '32 Ford-style dash, full steel tube and wood inner structure, and full floor.
