Year One
Year One's crate engine program was launched with this 350-plus-inch small-block Chevy that produces 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, and comes in at less than $3,000, which includes a 12-month/ 12,000-mile warranty.

A dual pattern 5.20-inch lift hydraulic roller cam is used, with 218-degrees duration for the intake, 228-degrees exhaust. The engines are topped with ported Vortec heads filled stainless 2.02/1.60 valves and 1.6:1 rockers, fed by a dual plane aluminum intake. Each engine is dyno-tested before being shipped, and includes its own dyno sheet verifying more than 400 hp and 400 lb-ft.
