Like his grandfather and his father before him, Vernon Walker Jr. has been elbow-deep in his family's tradition. Mastering the various skills employed at Walker's production facility, Jr. then applied them through his own visions to further the company's product roster.
Cooling Components offers a line of electric fans and high quality fan shrouds that enable countless enthusiasts to travel with cooling system assurance. While each design has been tailored to certain requirements, the entire spectrum covers almost any application and, if not, Cooling Components will create one.
Beyond the products themselves is a shared understanding of cooling system challenges and simple solutions that Walker and Cooling Components know all too well. While some of their concepts center on product choices, Walker also offers a clear understanding of how we can maximize our cooling systems.

Numerous applications are covered by Cooling Components' wide variety of fans and fan shrouds. Designed to maximize airflow through the radiator, these systems keep temperatures to a minimum.
Tips on Maintaining Your Cool
Maximize the space around your radiator by measuring carefully to determine the maximum frontal area available. Include room for the fan, shroud and other adjoining components including the A/C condenser.
Carefully consider the distance between the radiator core support and engine accessories, top and bottom, allowing adequate room for movement without interference.
Be sure the chassis mounting points are absolutely secure and easily capable of maintaining the weight of the cooling system in the most severe road conditions.
Make sure your fan choice matches the requirements of your radiator and drivetrain.

Choosing the proper thermostat is critical to maximizing the effectiveness of a well-maintained cooling system. Thermostats should be changed regularly, and be sure to carry a spare with you.
Keep your coolant fresh. Whether you drive your vehicle or not, the coolant looses its effectiveness over time, both in terms of temperature control and corrosion resistance
Top off the cooling system with a high quality 15- to 18-pound Walker Radiator cap to ensure it holds up when the pressure's on. Also check your hoses and clamps regularly, as time weathers rubber and its connections.
Know if concerns arise with any product in Walker's or Cooling Component's lineup, they will discuss or solve the issue with the same commitment that has gone into everything this American success story have created since 1932.
