FFR designed a custom wiring harness tailored to fit the exact proportions of their chassis. Jason had no trouble mapping it out thanks to a comprehensive installation manual, readily labeled wire leads, and a factory-designed mounting kit and hardware. With the wiring harness installed, Jason turned his attention to the cooling system. Included in the cooling package is a custom-engineered aluminum radiator that comes complete with a built-in transmission cooler, mounting brackets, and cap. The package also includes a pair of flexible stainless steel radiator hoses, adapters, mounting hardware, and a polished stainless steel overflow tank. Jason mounted the grille to the radiator as the combo is installed as a complete unit. Jason then measured the length of radiator hose needed for both the upper and lower coolant pickup points on the engine. Once marked, he cut the hose on a bandsaw, deburred the ends, and used a blowgun to ensure any debris was removed prior to installation to the engine with the supplied rubber ends and hose clamps. Having completed all of the system installations on the '33 Hot Rod it was time to get ready for the final assembly of the car. Stay tuned `cuz there's more to be seen as we get closer to the completion of the Factory Five Racing '33 Hot Rod.

Once Jason completed the mounting...

Once Jason completed the mounting of the external fuel pump to the chassis support member underneath the gas tank, he drilled mounting holes for the fuel line clamps and followed with his air-driven rivet gun to secure the line clamps into place.

Once all tank components were installed, Jason then measured and cut a section of 5/16-inch fuel feed line which will run from the fuel pump pickup to the fuel pump.

The completed fuel pump pick-up...

The completed fuel pump pick-up has both fuel supply and return lines installed with quick-release mounting hardware.

Rivets secure the fuel filter...

Rivets secure the fuel filter support mount to one of the crossmembers underneath the gas tank. Jason then installed the filter, followed by both flexible and hard lines complete with quick disconnect ends for easy maintenance.

In order to mount the MagnaFuel...

In order to mount the MagnaFuel regulator PN 2233 to the firewall, a custom mounting bracket secures it into place.

In order to complete the fuel...

In order to complete the fuel system installation to the Ford 4.6L three-valve V-8, a proper spring-lock fuel line section is required

When completed, the fuel system...

When completed, the fuel system looks like a factory installation.

The final item to complete...

The final item to complete the fuel system was to clamp the fuel filler neck to the tank with the provided fasteners.

This image lets you see the completed gas tank and fuel system installation. Take note at just how perfectly everything fits to the chassis.

The components included in...

The components included in the pedal box package from FFR include all of the necessary hardware and fittings to install the master cylinders and brake lines. (Note all of the hard lines included in the kit are not pictured in this image.)

Mounting the Wilwood compact...

Mounting the Wilwood compact remote master cylinders was a snap as all mounting points were established into the pedal box area of the chassis.

Having noted the access panel...

Having noted the access panel opening on the body for the remote master cylinder fluid reservoirs, Jason drilled and mounted the three individual units to the chassis with the provided mounting hardware. He also began to bend and install the brake and clutch lines at this time.
