Steve installed the chromed timing cover and the lower pulley, which was plated and treated to a satin black inner powdercoating. He then followed with the painted and detailed water pump and fuel pump accented by matching chrome hardware.

Nick Acton designed this one-off custom PowerGEN bracket and belt tension system which was also treated to the plating shop.

Steve bolted the upper support bracket for the PowerGEN first to the water crossover and then followed with the installation of the chromed engine fan.

To add a nostalgic touch, a Powermaster chrome plated PowerGEN alternator was selected, which incorporates the style of an early generator with modern alternator internal components.

The signature finned aluminum Buick Nailhead valve covers are polished and plated, and the addition of a PC valve plus a `60s-styled domed breather cap from Speedway Motors completes the look.

A pair of Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS 500cfm carbs with its exclusive EnduraShine finish will top off the factory intake.

Edelbrock also offers this progressive dual quad linkage which ensures smooth throttle response.

With the intake and carbs bolted to the engine, Nick Acton got busy creating a custom-plated stainless steel fuel line to run from the carbs to the polished Edelbrock fuel filter.

Steve reworked a pair of vintage Cal Custom air cleaners giving the top of the engine a true early '60s style. Check out how the Edelbrock progressive throttle linkage looks once treated to polishing and extra plating.

The headers designed by One-Off Technologies will no doubt add even more luster to the engine once they come back from the plating tank.
