Here you can see how the patch panel has been shaped and tacked to follow the curvature of the fender. Note that the lower left gap is tight and needs to be relieved so as not to cause "oil canning" once welded. The top section of the patch panel that extends past the lip of the fender will be rolled over the edge to match the fender later. View Related Article
