 Here's the cruise module installed...  Here's the cruise module installed on the firewall.  There are five different options...  There are five different options when it comes to connecting the cruise cable to the throttle. Mark opted to use the loop cable and connected it directly to the throttle cable. Note how the housing of the cruise cable is clamped firmly to the throttle cable near the ferrule adjusters, anchoring it to the throttle cable.  The next step is to measure...  The next step is to measure the throttle cable travel. This is accomplished by marking the cable with the throttle in the idle position and in the wide-open throttle position and measuring the distance between the two marks.  To install the cruise control...  To install the cruise control handle, the steering wheel and appropriate adapter hardware needs to be removed along with the stock turn signal lever.  The new cruise control handle...  The new cruise control handle and cover can then be installed and the wiring harness ran through the column to the wiring outlet.  The wiring harness that needs...  The wiring harness that needs to run into the passenger compartment requires a 3/4-inch hole to pass through the firewall.  The four-wire harness coming...  The four-wire harness coming from the cruise control handle plugs directly into the corresponding connector on the harness coming from the module.  The two remaining harnesses...  The two remaining harnesses connect to the corresponding pigtails that then get wired individually.  The violet wire attaches to...  The violet wire attaches to the negative side of the brake switch, while the red wire attaches to the hot side of the brake switch (constant 12+ volts).
