The two pieces on the left are the Bilstein damper body and the working piston. The three pieces on the right are the twin-tube damper's equivalent. Note the piston size difference. Rather than using thin-wall, welded-seam tubing, Bilstein uses thick-wall drawn-over-mandrel (seamless) tubing for its cylinders. View Related Article
