Summit offers fuel tank mounting straps to secure the cell from underneath, but these were built at HRBD using 16-gauge steel. When measuring the correct length, an inch was added at each end of the straps. That extra sheetmetal was doubled over to create a mounting pad where the straps will be bolted to the crossmembers. Each pad was drilled with a center hole area for the bolt, and additional holes for welding the folded-over segment. View Related Article
