The radiator side panel was then measured to determine the proper mounting points for the shroud to the side panel taking into account the 1-1/4-inch radiator layback. Two holes were drilled at 3 inches and 17 inches from the top of the bottom tank upward on each side. With the completed fan shroud mounted in place you can fully appreciate its superb design as well as all of the additional cooling the healthy V-8 will receive once it hits the open road.
