Bumpsteer can be a problem with this style of steering. This drawing courtesy of Pete and Jakes shows how to avoid it. A line drawn from the attachment point of the radius rod to the steering arm on the spindle should pass through the draglink’s pivot point on the Pitman arm. Due to the angle of the drag link with this type of steering, it isn’t advisable for use with four-bars. View Related Article
