PerTronix Ignitor II and III ignition systems require a full 12V power connection between the ignition switch and the positive coil terminal, which requires bypassing the ballast resistor or resistor wire. In many cases, the original resistor wire is buried the vehicle’s wiring harness. Adding a PerTronix power relay (PN 2001) will eliminate digging through the wiring harness and replacing wires.
This 30-amp relay kit can also be used with the original Ignitor conversion kits or to power accessories as well.
A lineup of nostalgic drag slicks and custom wheels from Radir Wheels are available in 14-, 15-, and now in 16-inch. They are made in the United States.

Eddie Motorsports manufactures billet aluminum trunk hinges for ’55-57 Chevrolets. The hinges are CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and offered for hardtop, post, and convertible models.
Eddie Motorsports hinges are available in a variety of finishes, including machined or brilliant polished, black or clear anodized, and a wide variety of Fusion-coated colors. The hinges employ Nitrogen filled gas shocks and high-quality Delrin bushings for a smooth, reliable operation that is far superior to the stock hinges and their torsional springs. Designed as direct fit, “bolt-on” units, the hinges utilize the stock mounting holes (they do require some minor drilling for the shock mount). Prices start at $275 per pair.
Fatman’s Affordable IFS is engineered for Model A’s, ’32 Fords, ’28-33 GM cars, and early Mopars with similar fenders that fit directly to the frame. Rather than modifying a Mustang II IFS to fit, with all the attendant track width and bumpsteer problems, this IFS design provides a 56-inch track width, rear steer rack-and-pinion, which will clear fenders, and radiator aprons while maintaining proper geometry. This kit has just been updated to use a manual rack provided by Maval/Unisteer.
No need to cut unsightly holes into your pristine factory original dashboard with Moal Coachbuilders “Hide-a-Vent.” The aircraft-grade billet aluminum nozzles mount to the underside of the dash. Dennis Carpenter now offers carburetors for Ford Flathead V-8 engines. These two-barrel reproduction carbs are dead ringers of the original Ford 94s, both mechanically and cosmetically. They offer trouble-free, reliable performance for stock displacement engines within the 85-110hp range.
Three different applications are now offered: ’38-48 Ford car/Mercury, ’49-53 Ford car, and ’48-53 Ford V-8 pickup trucks. All three variations have their original style of levers for throttle, hand throttle, and choke link ups. The air horns are cast to accept the original-style air cleaners and each is coated with a durable zinc chromate finish to better resist corrosion. Each carburetor comes bolted to a three-hole cast metal mounting flange and includes the manifold gasket.
