We used an ARP oil pump pre-lube driveshaft to completely lubricate the engine before startup. Note that we turn the engine about a quarter-turn every five seconds and we add oil to all the rockers within a minute. (ARP intake bolts, PN 454-2001, and carb stud kit, PN 400-2401.)
