New Solution to an Old Problem
Carolina Custom has come up with an innovative solution to a common problem encountered when installing outside door handles on Model As, 1932s, and other similar doors.
On these doors, the window channel or the glass will interfere with the ability to hook up the door handle to the rotary latch. The new Carolina Custom kit (PN EZH3) uses sliding nuts that allow mounting to the same two screws that hold the handle to the door, no matter what the pattern.
From the handle, linkage runs down to a bellcrank pivot mounted toward the bottom of the door. Another rod runs up the other side of the glass to the latch.
Kits include handle adapters, bellcranks, rods, and all the necessary mounting hardware. This will allow installation of two handles.
Stainless Roadster Tilt Steering Column
Flaming River has taken its roadster-style steering column and added the modern convenience of five-position tilt. This made-in-the-U.S. column is ideal for classic trucks, roadsters, and the 1953-62 Corvette.
With only 5-1/2 inches from the bottom of the dish to the top of the column’s shroud, this compact space-saving design has a nostalgic look and full tilt functionality. This new roadster-style tilt column fits snug against the dash and, compared to a standard tilt column, allows for an additional 2 inches of clearance in the driver seat. Each column is CNC machined from high-grade 304 stainless steel.
This column comes with a 1-3/4-inch tube diameter and is available in a variety of lengths and finishes, including paintable mill, polished, and black or custom powdercoat. Each column comes standard with a GM 4-1/4-inch wiring connector, horn functionality, canceling cam, turn signal arm, tilt lever, and hazard knob.

Circle Racing Wheels is offering special order, fully polished aluminum wheels in a number of styles (shown is the Wedge) that are offered in 15x4, 15x5.5, 15x6, 15x7, 15x8, 15x10, 15x12, 15x14, 15x15 sizes with popular bolt patterns of 5-on-4.75, 5-on-4.5, 5-on-5, 5-on-5.5. Standard backspacing will vary by size (special backspacing can be determined at time of order) and factory lugs nuts are available.

Strength in Steel
The latest addition to the New Traditionalist line of hot rod parts from SO-CAL Speed Shop are Coilover Speed Shocks in steel. Features include an all-steel black body, black powdercoated springs, adjustable aluminum preload collar nuts, aluminum top retaining collar, 9/16-inch piston shaft, and urethane bushings. The Speed Shocks feature a fully extended measurement of 14-1/2 inches open and 10 inches when closed, and come with coilover springs rated at 200, 220, 250, 300, or 350 pounds. Universal Engine Mount Kits
Speedway Motor’s Universal Engine Mount Kits provide a simple solution for installing a small-block Chevy or Ford or GM LS V-8 as well as making it easier to change or upgrade to another engine in the future. Each kit consists of engine pads, frame pads that can be trimmed and welded to your frame, rubber bolt-through cushions that connect the two pads, plus necessary hardware. Each kit is designed to have the same spacing between the frame pads. You can install a small-block Chevy V-8 now, and then upgrade to an LS V-8 in the future using the same frame pads and rubber cushions. The only things you need to change are the engine pads.
